Gioiosa Jonica is a lovely area with beautiful beaches where you can relax in the sun or enjoy various water sports in its pristine waters. If your preference is golf Roasarnio Golf course is within a 30-45 minute drive from the complex. There is a market held every Sunday in Gioiosa Jonica where you can wander about and enjoy the sights.

The airport at Lamezia Terme can be reached by car from Gioiosa Jonica within a 55-60 minute drive.
